We support a diverse and vulnerable group of people, including:
Individuals experiencing homelessness
Families in crisis
Elderly individuals with no support
People living with disabilities
Referrals from crisis centres (recognised haven)
Individuals transitioning from mental health institutions
We focus on restoring dignity, stability, and independence through both immediate care and long-term support.
People come to us with nowhere else to go — and we give them a second chance.
The Calling
Exodus Care Centre was founded through the calling of Pastor Theo Pretorius — a calling to serve, restore, and bring hope to those in need.
What began as a desire to help people in their most difficult moments has grown into a place of refuge for vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, people living with disabilities, families without homes and those transitioning from mental health care with nowhere to go. Here, every person is met with compassion, dignity, and the belief that their life still has purpose.
At Exodus Care Centre, we walk alongside each individual on their journey to healing and restoration — because we believe that no one is beyond hope, and every life can be renewed.
We are working toward building a permanent, self-sustaining facility that will provide long-term stability for those we serve.
This includes:
Permanent housing
Skills development workshops
Small-scale farming to reduce food costs
This vision will not only expand our capacity, but also create a pathway to independence and dignity for our residents.
Your support makes this work possible.
Every donation helps us provide shelter, food, and hope to those who need it most.
